What is Title IX?

Sex discrimination includes sex-based harassment, Sex-based harassment is unwelcome conduct which includes both sexual harassment, including but not limited to sexual assault, This applies to academic, educational, athletic and residential programs.

Our Commitment to You

伊玛丘拉塔大学致力于提供和维持一个安全、健康的教育和工作环境,没有大学社区的成员参与其中, on the basis of sex, sexual orientation or gender identity, excluded from participation in, denied the benefits of, or subjected to discrimination in any University program or activity. Gender-based and sexual harassment, including sexual violence,

大学将遵守1972年教育修正案第九条(Title IX), 《KB体育App下载》(《KB体育App下载》), as amended by the Violence Against Women Reauthorization Act of 2013 (VAWA), and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in employment; and other applicable law.

It is the policy of the University to provide educational, preventative and training programs regarding sexual or gender-based harassment; to encourage reporting of incidents; to prevent incidents of sexual and gender-based harassment from denying or limiting an individual’s ability to participate in or benefit from the University’s programs; to make available timely services for those who have been affected by discrimination; and to provide prompt and equitable methods of investigation and resolution to stop discrimination, remedy any harm and prevent its recurrence.

Clery Act/VAWA

The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act The U.S. Department of Education Handbook for Campus Crime Reporting assists universities and colleges in meeting the Clery Act requirements. Under the law, a crime is reported when a victim, witness, CSAs should report crimes immediately by calling 610-854-2451 or extension 5555.

The criminal offenses that should be reported are:

They should inform the individual that if he or she requests confidentiality, the report will not include identifying information, but that if it is an incident of sexual misconduct,

Title IX Office Training

Section 106.2020年第九条规定第45(b)条要求共享“用于培训第九条协调员的所有材料, investigators, decision-makers and any person who facilitates an informal resolution process. A recipient must make these training materials publicly available on its website,
